With a guitar in hand and a message of love in her heart, Shimewuese Ahua is a rising Afro-gospel artist redefining the sound of faith. Growing up as the eldest of four in a pastor’s home, she discovered her passion for music at just seven years old. Now based in Abuja and studying Biological Sciences at Benue State University, Makurdi, Shime balances academics with her soulful artistry.
Her breakout single, "You and Me," released in 2017, resonated globally, captivating listeners in the USA, UK, Canada, Ghana, Malaysia, and Nigeria. Known for her Afrocentric sound, she shares God’s unconditional love, using her music to highlight grace over judgment.
Beyond her solo work, Shime leads her church choir and contributed to the 2024 TV series "Beyond the Veil" by Naila Media. Her heartfelt songs and faith-driven purpose are transforming Afro-gospel.
